At North Rise Retreat, we operate a little differently to provide you with a seamless and flexible experience during your stay.

 

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in is from 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM, please, unless otherwise agreed with North Rise. Thank you for your cooperation.

We use a key safe system for easy self-check-in. On the day of your arrival, you’ll receive a text with the key safe details. To open the key safe:

1.Enter the code provided.

2.Push down the black button on the left.

3.The key safe will flip forward, revealing your key.

 

This key grants access to the front doors and your room upstairs. If you encounter any issues with the key safe, we are always available to assist. We live on-site, so while we may not always be visible, you can contact us anytime by phone, text, or through our outside and inside Ring doorbells.

We’re pleased to offer all our guests free access to our hot tub and sauna. To ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy these facilities, we use a booking system located in the dining room. Simply select your preferred time slot, and you’ll have private use of the hot tub and sauna during your chosen time.

At North Rise Retreat, we provide a free basic continental-style breakfast to start your day. Breakfast is available between 8 AM and 11 AM. Complimentary tea and coffee are also available at any time.

 

You’ll find:

•A selection of juices and yoghurts in the black fridge.

•Skimmed, semi-skimmed, and full-fat milk, along with soya and oat milk, in the white fridge.

•A variety of cereals, breads, hot pastries, biscuits, crumpets, fruits, and many other breakfast options.

 

When you’re finished, kindly leave your dirty plates, cutlery, glasses, and cups in the trolley provided, and we’ll take care of the cleaning for you.

 

While we only provide a basic continental breakfast, you’re welcome to bring your own food and snacks or order takeaways to enjoy at the property. Guests can use the guest lounge, cutlery, plates, and other dining essentials for their meals.

 

Additionally, there is a good selection of takeaways and mini-stores located just a five-minute walk away in Ore Village for your convenience.

At North Rise Retreat, we ensure there is ample parking for all our guests. The best place to park is as advised along Beacon Road, up one side of the property. The entire stretch of the road can be used for parking, except in front of the large wooden gates.

 

Additionally, there is parking available at the front entrance. However, as the front is a busy road, we recommend parking at the back for convenience. If you have heavy luggage, we have a back gate leading directly from Beacon Road to the property. Please feel free to reach out to Darren on the number provided, and we will gladly assist you if needed.

At North Rise Retreat, we pride ourselves on cleanliness. While we do not enter rooms daily, if you are staying longer and require your room cleaned, please reach out to one of our cleaners or to Darren, and we will arrange that for you.

 

You are welcome to take extra tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and other essentials into your room at any time. Additionally, if you require extra toilet rolls, they are conveniently located opposite the guest lounge for you to help yourself.
